COCA, the Center of Creative Arts, is a multidisciplinary art institution located in University City. It has been enriching the lives of its students and the community since 1986. It provides classes for students of all ages on theatre, music, dance and many forms of visual art, such as drawing, sculpture and photography. It also offers professional development courses for art educators. COCA is well known for it's variety of theatrical presentations during their performing season. The 450 seat Catherine B. Berges Theatre, and several other theaters and studio spaces, can be rented for private use, such as meetings, lectures, rehearsal or social events. The Millstone Gallery is located at COCA and features art from local, regional and nationally recognized artists.
